OSTEODAM PLUS K2® is a suspension has a balanced formula that provides a rich source of calcium with Co-factors to maintain strong bones and teeth, as well as the health of the heart, muscles and nerves.
• Calcium: plays an important and vital role in the growth, development and mineralization of bones and teeth .
• Magnesium: achieves the essential balance with calcium, as magnesium deficiency in the body leads to increased calcium secretion and low levels, which cannot be corrected by increasing the doses of calcium and vitamin D only. Magnesium deficiency also reduces the secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH) which in turn affects the transformation of vitamin D into its effective form (hydroxy Calciferol).
• Vitamin D3: contributes to growth, development and natural mineralization by helping the bones to uptake calcium, as it is responsible for the production of hormones that maintain healthy levels of calcium and phosphorus with bones and blood.
• Zinc: helps the permanent and constant regeneration of bones and reconstruction, as well as the health and safety of the muscles and nerves, and Zinc deficiency greatly affects the ability of the bone cells to manufacture the DNA of collagen and proteins which is improve bone mineralization.
• Vitamin K2: Vitamin K is an essential vitamin that supports blood clotting and healthy bones. Vitamin K2 can enhance teeth and bones health and prevent osteoporosis, this vitamin plays an essential role in the metabolism of calcium, which is the main mineral component in bones and teeth.
Vitamin K2 may reduce the risk of heart disease, as it is reducing the accumulation of calcium in the arteries surrounding the heart.

ContraIndications:
– Allergy to any of the product ingredients.

Side effects:
OSTEODAM® is absolutely safe and suitable for all ages and rarely causes mild intestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhea and constipation but donot last long.

Drug interactions:
Calcium interferes with anti-acids, thiazidediuretics, calciumchannel-blockers, tetracycline, iron compounds and flouroquinolone anti-bacterial.

Dosage :
• Infants less than one year as per doctor’s instructions.
• Children 1- 3 years                                                         : 2.5 ml ( ½ teaspoon ) once a day.
• Children 4 -12 years                                                       :  5 ml once a day.
• Adults ( pregnant and lactating) and over 12 years :  5 ml twice a day.
Unless the doctor describes otherwise.

Warnings and precautions:
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• Consult your doctor if you have a healthy condition or suffers from (diabetes, epilepsy, hypersecretion of parathyroid glands).
• The product should be consumed within  4 weeks after the bottle is opened.

Storage:
• Store at a temperature under 25 ° C in a cool and dry place and away from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
